Before installing, be sure to confirm that your plug-in is compatible with Command. See the
Compatibility Matrix for GDS plug-ins in the Avid iNEWS Command ReadMe for the latest
information.
Configure the Avid Graphic Device Service
After the installations are complete, for the integration to succeed, some additional
configuration is required, using the Avid Service Configuration application of Avid Service
Framework. For more information about the ASF application, see the Avid Service
Framework User’s Guide.
To configure the Graphic device service:
1. Click the Start button, and then select All Programs > Avid > Service Framework > Avid
Service Configuration.
2. On the Hosts tab, navigate to and select the Avid Graphic Device Service.
3. When prompted, enter the system administrator password and click OK. If you have not
yet created one, leave the space blank and click OK.
4. On the Plug-in Chooser tab, select the plug-in you intend to use, provided by a
third-party vender. By default this selection is set to none.

installed, restart the Graphic device service.

configuration settings.
