CII Integration
151
To assign a style for a standalone playlist:
1. Right-click on the playlist’s channel group icon.
2. Select Edit properties for this channel group. The Playlist Channel Group Properties
dialog box appears.
3. Enter the style.
4. Click OK.
The following list contains further guidelines related to playback.
• Numeric only items do not need to be added to the GIE.
• Numeric only items will show up originally as unavailable in the Command playlist,
even if the item exists on the graphics device. Lock the channel group; this will make
Command check for availability and correct the status.
• In Command, page numbers are written when the playlist is locked. This is by design
and is different from ControlAir, where the page numbers were written when the show
was loaded.
• If a new graphic is created in the GIE, the new graphic will not show up until after the
monitor server for the show is turned off and back on in iNEWS.
Configuring Command for CII Integration
Some additional configuration is required to enable CII integration with Command via the
Graphic device service—part of which is done at a Command Workstation, and part of
which must be done on the device itself, using the Lyric software. Both are described in this
section.
To configure device channels in Command for CII Integration:
1. Start the Command Workstation application.
2. Select Tools > System Settings. The System Settings dialog box appears.
3. Expand Channel.
4. Select Device Channels.
