3. In the Name field, enter an alias for the connection. This should be an easy-to-recognize
name, such as Studio A.
4. In the Hostname field, enter the name of the computer running the Avid Remote
Communication Service.
5. Enter the correct port and tap Done.
6. Tap the Connect button.
You should see a message indicating that you are not authorized. Your site’s system
administrator must now authorize your device.
To authorize a tablet to connect to the system:
1. Open the Avid Service Configuration application.
2. Select the Avid Remote Communication Service.

You should see in the list the name of the device that just attempted to connect.
3. In the Authorized column, select the check box next to the device you want to authorize.
4. Click Apply.
