19. After modifying the GPI device service system settings, restart the service.
Restarting the GPI Device Service
After configuring the GPI card, you must restart the device service.
To restart the Avid GPI Device Service:
1. Click Start and select All Programs > Avid > Service Framework > Avid Workgroup
Properties.
2. On the Services tab, click Advanced.
3. Select Avid GPI Device Service.
4. Click Restart.

Avid also recommends restarting the client software at the Command Workstation.
