If you plan to use MOS Channel to change the channel group for any MOS Active rundown,
you need to define channel group in the MOS Channel field for all rundowns. If the MOS
Channel is not defined when the rundown is MOS activated, the MOS Channel needs to be
set twice to make the change happen.
Configuring Command for Deko Select
When using the Avid Deko Select plug-in with Command and ENPS, some configuration is
needed.
To configure integration for Deko Select with Command and ENPS:
1. In ENPS, configure the Deko Select plug-in based on the following table.
An example of this configuration is shown as the bottom row of the following graphic.
The IP address is the DekoMOS Gateway. The first two rows are the primary and
backup Command Servers.
Text Box Name Description
Description Enter the name that identifies this plug-in for users, such as DekoMOS.
IP Enter the IP address of the Command Server running the DekoMOS
Gateway.
ActiveX Enter the ActiveX Application ID. This is usually
DekoMOS.Browser
.
(Don’t forget the period between DekoMOS and Browser.)
Program Select the group you created in step 5 on page 259.
MOS Version Enter the version used by DekoMOS. Although both versions 2.6 and 2.8
are supported, Avid strongly recommends using MOS 2.8.
Local DragDrop Set to Off.
Modal UI ActiveX Enter the ActiveX Application ID. This is usually
DekoMOS.Browser
.
(Don’t forget the period between DekoMOS and Browser.)
Auto Create Confirm that this box is not checked.
Object Type Set the object type to STILL.
Use Detached If users want the Deko Select plug-in to be detached from the ENPS
client, check this box.
