For AMS up/down cross convert integration, autocue must be turned off when transitioning
between XDCAM 720p and 1080i clips. For Auto Switch Output Format, users also need to
turn off autocue if they plan to switch formats. This is because the AMS channel needs to be
in an idle state—not playing for instance—for it to switch formats.
Avid recommends having dedicated channels for specific resolutions.
