In Windows XP, go to your Control Panels and double-click on the JamLab icon. This will bring up the JamLab Control Panel. The Input Gain tab allows you to boost the input signal from your guitar to the computer. If you’re using a guitar with single coil pickups, you’ll want this setting to be close to 10. Start low, and then turn up the output volume until you find the right level for your headphones or speakers. The Link button allows you to control the output level of the left and right signals at the same time.
The About tab contains useful information about your JamLab. Should you ever need to call M-Audio tech support for help with your JamLab, the information on this screen will be asked for.
