Double-click each setting in the Settings scroll list of the Project
window to view the dialog boxes.
Film Settings
Film settings determine essential parameters for accurately capturing,
tracking, and editing source material for 24p and 25p projects,
including:
Audio transfer rate and pulldown parameters for film-to-tape
transfers
Play rate for Timeline play
Format and display of ink numbers

Tab le 5- 2 describes the Film Settings options for setting the play rate
for Timeline play and setting the format and display of ink numbers.

Option Description
Edit Play Rate Selects the play rate for Timeline play. See “Setting the Play Rate for

Ink Number Format Selects one of these industry-standard ink number formats to meet
your production lab standards and your film format. See the input and
output guide for your Avid system.
Ink Number displayed as Selects the format for the ink number display in bins and cut lists. See
