Registering a Provider with the Production Services Engine

3. Do the following:
a. Provider Name — A default name for the provider is automatically supplied. Accept the
default name or type a new name. In this example, the name is Consolidate_01.
b. Production Services Engine Host Name — Type the name of the system running the
Production Services Engine application.
c. Automatically Connect — Select Yes to automatically connect the provider to the
Production Services Engine when the application starts. To prevent automatic connection,
select No.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Connect in the Service window.
The Consolidate Service dialog box now shows that the service is connected and shows the name
of the provider you connected.
The Provider page in the Production Services and Transfer Status tool now shows that the
Consolidate service is connected, indicated by a check mark in the Status column.
