Recording with SDTI
When the SDTI PCI card and driver have been successfully installed,
DV SDTI 0 appears as a choice in the Audio and Video input pop-up
menus in the Audio Projects Settings dialog box, the Video Input tool,
and the Record tool. If you choose SDTI from either the Audio or
Video input pop-up menu, NewsCutter changes both audio and video
to SDTI. You cannot mix an input signal from the Meridien board with
SDTI.
If the Record tool is active with SDTI chosen as the input, the SDTI
signal is passed through from the SDTI input to the desktop and client
displays. An SDTI signal must be present if any of the track buttons
are selected.
To make sure an SDTI signal is present:
1. Select one or more tracks.
If you have not provided an SDTI signal, a message box appears
informing you that no signal is present.
2. Click OK.
All audio and video tracks are deselected.
