Avid editing applications support one video track and up to four tracks of
48 kHz, 16-bit audio, the maximum you can record on Panasonic P2
equipment.
P2 Files and Folders
Panasonic P2 video and audio media is recorded in MXF format, one of the
two media file formats you can use in Avid editing applications. Each P2 card
stores MXF files in two folders:
drive: Contents\Audio
drive: Contents\Video
The following illustration shows the folder structure of a P2 card and
examples of the MXF audio and video files contained in the Audio and Video
folders.
