Reveal in Finder/Explorer
Opens the correspond-
ing parent window in the Finder (Mac) or Explorer
(Windows) for the currently selected file.
Open in New Workspace
Opens the selected item
in a new browser. The selected item is highlighted
in the new browser.
Tags
Opens the Assign Tags popover window for
audio files (WAV or AIFF only). For details on the
Assign Tags popover window, see “Soundbase and
Tags” on page 331).
Recently Used Tags
Lets you assign any of the
last 10 used tags to the selected audio file (WAV or
AIFF only).
Spot To Edit Insertion
Spots the selected audio
file to the current Edit insertion location. Note that
the channel width of the file must match the chan-
nel width of the target audio track.
Update Index
Updates the index for the currently
selected volumes or folders.
Delete Index
Deletes the index of files for the
items in the selected volume or folder from the da-
tabase.
Delete Index for All Offline Volumes
Deletes the
index for all offline volumes from the database.
Invert Selection
Reverses (inverts) the current
selection.
Select All
Selects all items shown in the browser.
Calculate Waveform
Calculates the waveform dis-
plays for selected audio files, or for all audio files
within selected volumes, folders, or catalogs.
Calculate Elastic Analysis
Calculates Elastic Au-
dio analysis data for all selected audio files. Ana-
lyzed files are indicated by a blue clock for sam-
ple-based files and by a green metronome for tick-
based files. Analyzed files where a tempo has been
detected are also updated as tick-based, display
their duration in Bars|Beats, and display their na-
tive tempo in the Tempo column. You can view the
progress of Elastic Audio analysis in the Task win-
dow.
Clear Elastic Analysis
Clears Elastic Audio analy-
sis data for all selected audio files. Files cleared of
Elastic Audio analysis data revert to sample time-
base, display their duration in minutes and sec-
onds, and do not report a tempo.
Load Guitar Rig Settings (Eleven Rack
Only)
Loads the Guitar Rig Settings for selected
audio files with embedded Guitar Rig Settings
from an Eleven Rack.
Select Offline Files
Selects all files that are
currently offline.
Select Online Files
Selects all files that are online.
Select Transfer Files
Selects all files identified as
Transfer files (files found on media that do not
support playback).
Relink Offline
Opens the Relink window for items
selected in the current session.
Relink
Opens the Relink window, with all selected
files from the current browser displayed and se-
lected as Files to Match. This command is avail-
able for catalogs and sessions only.
Copy and Relink
Copies items selected in the cur-
rent session browser to a chosen location, and
relinks the session to the copies instead of the orig-
inals. Use this to easily move files from a Transfer
to a Performance volume. This command is also
available in selected catalogs to copy items and
relink the current catalog to the copies.
