Profile Setup
The first time you open the Artist Chat window,
you are prompted to setup up your Profile. The in-
formation in your profile will help other Pro Tools
users find you in the Avid directory.
You must enter at least your
Display Name (this is
what other users will see), all other fields are op-
tional, but they will help other users find you in the
Avid directory. This is also the name you will see
in the Dashboard after you sign in to your Avid
Master Account, for your Avatar in the Artist Chat
window, in collaboration transaction logs for any
actions you took, and in the Track Ownership con-
trol when you have ownership of a track in a shared
project.
You can always edit your Profile and change your
Display Name at a later time if you want.
To edit your Artist Profile:
1 Click the avatar icon in the upper-right corner of
the Artist Chat window and choose
Profile.
2 Update the information for you Artist Profile in
the Profile Setup.
3 Click Save.
