Connecting Personal Mixers
To connect a Personal Mixer to the D800:
Connect a Cat-5e cable from an A-Net port on the D800 A-Net Distributor to the A-Net IN
port on the Personal Mixer.
DC power is supplied automatically to the Personal Mixer—no external DC power supply
is required.
Connect additional Personal Mixers using Cat-5e cables from an available A-Net port on
the D800 A-Net Distributor to the A-Net input on the Personal Mixer. Any combination of
A360, A-16II and A-16R Personal Mixers may be used.

Connect the A-Net port on the D800 to A-Net In on an A360, A-16II, or A-16R Personal Mixer.
See below for information about the settings for each A-Net port’s mode switch.

Note: For front panel connections from the D800 to Personal Mixers, shielded Cat-5e (or better)
cable must be used to stay below the CISPR 22 Class B, ICES-003, and FCC 47 CFR Part 15 Class
B emissions limits.
Unshielded Cat-5e (or better) cable may be used on all rear panel connections.
The A-Net outputs on the D800 can be connected to any A-Net compatible device, allowing flexible
routing and system configurations as well as virtually unlimited system expansion.
See page 30 for additional information on configuring personal mixing systems.
