A DSWebview Client interface may also be used to access the system and perform commands via a
web browser. The DSWebview software utilizes a web server that provides communication with a
DSWebview Client interface. TCP/IP port 80 is used for HTTP or TCP/IP port 443 is used for
HTTPS connections. The DSWebview Client interface may communicate with the web server on a
Virtual Private Network (VPN) or remotely using TCP/IP port 8189. If you wish to communicate
using the Telnet application, TCP/IP port 8023 must be used in addition to TCP/IP port 8189. If a
VPN tunnel has not been created, TCP ports 8189 and 8023 must be configured as open on
your firewall.
