8. Using standard 3.5mm stereo patch cords, con-
nect the
connector on the rear of the Trans-
mitter to the speaker or line output jack of your
computer and the
connector to the microphone
input jack of your PC.
9. For Companion Models: Connect the local
user’s monitor and serial cable to the rear of
the LongView Transmitter and the remaining
peripherals to the front of the LongView
Transmitter. If your computer uses “plug and
play” technology, it will identify the local
monitor only. If you choose not to connect a
local monitor, set the local monitor switch as
shown below.
10. For Companion Models: Set the user options
switches on the rear of the Transmitter accord-
ing to the following table. For most users,
there will be no changes needed.
