SYMPTOM ACTION
See if the keyboard L.E.D.'s flash when the
computer is turned on. Keyboard behavior
should be exactly the same as when
directly connected to the computer.
Compare the power requirements of your
keyboard to the Specifications chart in this
User Guide. If LongView cannot provide
enough power for your keyboard, contact
Cybex Technical Support.
Ensure that the mouse cable is plugged
into the proper jacks and reboot the
computer. Re-test the mouse by plugging it
directly into the computer and rebooting
the computer. If the mouse does not
operate when plugged directly into the
computer, replace the mouse.
Verify that the length of Category 5 cable
between the Transmitter and Receiver is
within the limits shown in the Specifica-
tions Table for the resolution and refresh
rate you are using. Make sure the video
connectors at both ends are firmly seated.
Make sure that the Category 5 connectors
are properly inserted. Make sure that the
modular plugs on the Category 5 cable
were properly crimped onto the cable.
Have qualified personnel check AC power
polarity and grounding at both the com-
puter and monitor.
Verify that the length of Category 5 cable
between the Transmitter and Receiver is
within the limits shown in the Specifica-
tions Table. Speakers without amplifi-
ers may result in low volume and/or
noisy audio.
