Appendix E Personal Data
Collection Description
124
There are five functions concerning the personal data collection under the
network modules of the device, including PPPoE, DDNS, E-mail, 802.1x and FTP.
In the device, these functions are used by the client-end of the device to
communicate with the server of the customer’s company (or service supplier). As
the client-end, our device needs to keep the authentication credentials
(username and password) used to connect the server. These credentials can be
configured through the Web client of the device and then sent to the device.
The process of the data transmission and storage are as follows.
Statement:
Except for service authentication when communicating with the server, we will
never share these personal data stored on the device to the third-party or use
them by ourselves without the client’s authorization.
The log will record the operator's operation steps and change records, and will
not contain any information about the collected personal data
