TheEMO3000canactasaRatioMonitorbyutilizingboththe A(pin4)andB(pin3)frequencyinputs.
Thisisespeciallyusefulintwocompon entsystemswherearatiomustbemaintainedwithinadefined
margin.
Theratiocalculationisbasedonthetotalizedvolumesoffluid
fromInputAandInputB.Thenumberof
pulsesprogrammedintheRatioSamplevariabledetermineshowoftenthecalculationupdates.When
theEMO3000countspulsesfromeitherflowmeter e qualtotheRatioSample,theRatiocalculationis
performed.ThedeviceusesthisdatatotriggerAlarmand
WarninglimitsundertheLimitRulesforRatio.
IgnoretheRatioSample’sdecimalpointwhenprogrammingthenumberofpulses(4.00isasamplesize
of400pulses).
ACTUALRATIO=INPUTATOTAL/INPUTBTOTAL
TheEMO3000performsthiscalculationwheneitherTotalAorTotalBreaches
theRatioSample
numberfirst.
TheratiodisplayscreenshowstheFlowRatesforAandB,theIdealRatio,andtheActualRatio.The
IdealRatioistheratiothatshouldbemaintainedatthespraynozzle(paintorcoatingapplication)and
requiresprogramming.TheIdealRatioisunderGENERAL
AintheDM3000.
Afterprogramming,theEMO3000comparestheActualRatiototheIdealRatioandtheRatioMargin
