IfyouselectF5=SEARCHCHANNELS,thescreenflashes“....searchingforactivechannels.”Atthistime,
theDM‐3000startsincrementingthroughchannelnumbers1through16andthescreenindicatesany
activeresponsesasthecharacterI.TheDM‐3000thenautomaticallyreturnstotheMain Menu.

TheDM‐3000isausefultoolfortroubleshootingbecauseitobservesthesystemflowresponseoverthe
fullrangeoftheanalogoutput.Youcanstepthroughthecompleterangeanalogoutputrangein1mA
stepswhileobservingtheresulting flowrateandrippleontheflowratethatisoften
presentinpumped
systems.Thisishelpfulforobservingthehysteresis,non‐linearity,andotherirregularitiesinsystem
response.Thefeatureisalsousefulfordeterminingthecrackingpressureofaflowregulatortoaidin
settingthePIDINITIALKICKparameter.
Asthisfeaturetakesopen loopcontrolof
thesystem,bewareofthepotentialvolumeoftheresulting
flow.Topreventunauthorizedorintentionaluse,apasswordprotectsthefunctiononeachentry.
