o Red – The tag and probe are not communicating. Unplug the probe cable
and reattach. If the red LED still shows, RMA the tag.
o Green – LF message received and probe and tag are communicating.
o Red/Green Consecutively Multiple Times – The probe and cable are not
communicating because of a bad probe. Unplug the probe cable and
reattach. If you still receive the red/green LED, RMA the probe.
o 3 x Green = Good Tag/probe (only when battery or probe replaced)
5. Curl the cord through the loop of the Tag.
6. Close the casing.
4.3.2 Provisioning the Environmental Tag
After a device (tag, display, or beacon) has been batch created, it must be provisioned
so that it can connect to the network and provide location information for tags. Use the
following procedure to provision a device.
NOTE: Before beginning this procedure, an Awarepoint router must be connected
and running close to the tablet running the provisioning application.
Without this router, the SSID for the site will not be available to the app
and the provisioning procedure will fail.
1. Open the Provisioning app on the Awarepoint tablet.

The following areas should be noted as identified in the figure above:
1) Application version
2) The Environment URL drop-down list
3) The REQUEST TOKEN button
4) The SYNC WITH SITES FROM IP button
