8.4.1 Physical Installation of Temperature Tags (T2T)
Temperature Tags (T2T) should be installed on the outside of the asset that to be
monitored, on the side that is closest to a Sensor. The cord should be supported on
the outside of the asset to be monitored using the “tape on” cable tie down squares. A
two inch service loop should be added near the Tag so that you absolutely remove all
tension from the cord (See photo).
Using another “tape on” cable tie down square, affix the bottom part of the Sensor cord
(where it meets the black rubber Sensor) to the side wall of the asset that will be
monitored. Be sure that the Sensor end of the Tag is toward the back of the asset,
away from the door to decrease temperature fluctuation.
