) fasten one side temporarily to the primary jamb/frame of the accent window by using a 2 ½”
finish nail and then one finish nail on the other side – to just tack the XJ - leaving most of the nail out – the
XJ should be flush with the inside edge of the primary jamb/frame – this process will allow the use of a level at
the 180 degree line for the cutoff point of the 1st half, mark the half-point 180 degree cut line, remove & cut to size with a
chopsaw & then fully install with more finish nails & set the nails – repeat the same for the other half & glue between the

Nails on the lower trim profile area to attached to the jamb/frame & then use 1 ½” Finish Nails to fasten the back side of the

most of the nail out – the Trim should be showing approx. 1/8” reveal of the primary jamb/frame – spread the half-section
Trim in or out to acquire approx. 1/8” to 3/16” reveal edge – once tacked in position, this process will allow the use of a level
at the 180 degree line for the cutoff point of one of the half sections - remove & cut to size by a chopsaw & then install
with more finish nails – repeat the same for the other half & glue between the miter-joints & sand to smooth out joint
transition prior to staining or priming & painting – once fully installed – set & fill nail holes & then complete staining or priming
& painting
