Configuring the NIU

Step 14:
To ensure that no other network IP address assignment
protocols – BOOTP, DHCP or RARP – reassign the IP
address, type the following commands at the prompt:

provided. Ensure that it is correct.
Setting up the Serial Port
The serial port on the NIU should be configured so that it can
communicate with the Receiver. To properly configure the serial port,
type the following commands at the

IMPORTANT!
Once you set the speed, you MUST disconnect from
HyperTerminal and restart the NIU for changes to take effect.
