2.1.2 - Network Connection
The Network dialog box is the following:
These parameters are:
- Enable DHCP: two possible values:
- Yes: the DHCP protocol is run when the set-up is exited and
automatically obtains an IP address and various other DHCP
options (netmask, default router, etc).
- No: a Static IP address is required
- IP address: mandatory if DHCP is disabled.
- Default router: optional router IP address.
- 1st DNS Server IP Address: optional DNS server IP address
- Server Name (not available for Citrix): DNS name (if the DNS server is
known) or a simple mnemonic name.
- Server IP address (not available for Citrix): if this field is left blank, DNS
will be used to resolve the hostname.
- TCP Port (only for VNC): VNC session number
