THE BARCODE EXPERTS
The Axicon 15500 barcode verier is designed to read both linear and two-
dimensional matrix barcodes simultaneously. All the symbols seen in its eld of
view are veried individually, and the user simply selects each barcode in turn to
see the specic results.
The eld of view - 95 mm by 70 mm - is the world’s largest for a handheld 2D barcode
verier. Linear and 2D barcodes are veried in accordance with the appropriate ISO/
IEC standard, with linear barcodes being sampled ten times from top to bottom.
Data Matrix, GS1 DataMatrix, QR Code, GS1 QR Code, EAN, UPC, ITF-14, GS1 Databar
and GS1-128 symbols can all be veried. The verier is designed to be used in three
dierent positions so that even barcodes on awkwardly shaped objects can be easily
read. It is powered solely via its USB connection to a PC or laptop, and the software
runs on any Microsoft supported version of Windows, from Windows 7 onwards.
The record of each verication includes the image of all the codes in the eld of view,
as well as the reports for each barcode. These verication les can be consecutively
numbered or date and time stamped if required for traceability auditing processes.
The verier may be congured to comply with the FDA regulation 21 CFR Part 11.
