Technology overview 1. Cognimatics analytics are mainly used in retail, but can be applied at any other physical location – banks, museums, stadiums, schools, libraries, etc. 2. Applications run fully embedded on AXIS IP cameras. 3. Analytics do not record or store vídeo or images – only metadata is collected and stored locally on the camera (time limit varies per application). 4. No SD card is required. 5. Open HTTP API for easy integration with third party BI tools. www.axis.
Privacy concerns? Our embedded analytics effectively turn the camera into a sensor as no video or images are collected. In addition, all products support “Anonymization” which blurs out the cameras image so that no individual can be recognized. www.axis.

TrueView Occupancy Estimates occupancy and average visit time of a designated location by mounting cameras at every entrance/exit of a location, and connecting them in a master-slave set up. Trigger action rules on the Axis camera to notify staff when the occupancy level has reached a certain threshold. www.axis.
TrueView One Way • Notify the customer that he/she is walking in the wrong direction via an audio output directly from the camera. • Notify a security guard via email or SMS that a person is walking in the wrong direction. • Close entrance gates if a person is walking out of a store in the wrong direction. • Notify the store personnel via blinker or a sound siren that a person is walking out of the store via the entrance path. “Use another exit!” www.axis.

TrueView Random Inspection Detects in real-time when someone is leaving the premises, and randomly determines if the person should be scheduled for inspection or not. The selection of individuals to be inspected is completely done at random, eliminating any bias in a delicate situation which in turn reduces employee or customer discomfort.
