IPaddressesobtainedfromaDHCPserveraredynamicandmaychange.IftheIPaddresshasbeen
changed,useAXISIPUtilityorAXISDeviceManagertolocatethedeviceonthenetwork.Identify
thedeviceusingitsmodelorserialnumber,orbytheDNSname(ifthenamehasbeencongured).
Ifrequired,astaticIPaddresscanbeassignedmanually.Forinstructions,gotoaxis.com/support.

Forauthenticationtoworkproperly,thedateandtimesettingsintheAxisdevicemustbe

dependsonthewaythestreamisrequested.Thestreamsareusedonarstcome,rstserved
basis.Examplesofinstancesusingastreamare:
•Liveviewinginawebbrowserorotherapplication
•Whilerecording-continuousormotiontriggeredrecording
•Aneventusingimagesonthecamera,forexampleaneventsendingane-mailwithan
imageeveryhour
•Aninstalledandrunningapplication,suchasAXISVideoMotionDetection,willalways
consumeavideostream,whetheritisusedornot.Astoppedapplicationdoesnot
consumeavideostream.
Thecameracandelivermorethanfoursimultaneousstreamsprovidedthecongurationofany
additionalstreamisidenticaltoanyoftherstfourstreams.Identicalcongurationimpliesexactly
