Selectcapturemode

Whichcapturemodetochoosedependsontherequirementsofframerateandresolutionforthespecicsurveillancesetup.For

Selectexposuremode

Therearedifferentexposuremodeoptionsinthecamerathatadjustsaperture,shutterspeed,andgaintoimproveimagequalityfor

specicsurveillancescenes.GotoSettings>Image>Exposureandselectbetweenthefollowingexposuremodes:

•Formostusecases,selectAutomaticexposure.

•Forenvironmentswithcertainarticiallighting,forexampleuorescentlighting,selectFlicker-free.

•Forenvironmentswithcertainarticiallightandbrightlight,forexampleoutdoorswithuorescentlightingatnightand

sunduringdaytime,selectFlicker-reduced.

•Tolockthecurrentexposuresettings,selectHoldcurrent.

Hidepartsoftheimagewithprivacymasks

Youcancreateoneorseveralprivacymaskstohidepartsoftheimage.

1.GotoSettings>Privacymask.

2.ClickNew.

3.Adjustthesize,color,andnameoftheprivacymaskaccordingtoyourneeds.

Improvefacialrecognition

Tobetterrecognizethefaceofapersonpassingbythecamera,youcansettheoptimalpixelresolutionwiththecamera’spixel

counter.
