Using the video server
The AXIS 241QA/AXIS 241SA can be used with most operating systems and web browsers.
The recommended browser is Internet Explorer with Windows, and Mozilla with other
operating systems. See also the Technical specifications, on page 66.

Accessing the video
server
1. Start your web
browser.
2. Enter the IP address or host name of the AXIS 241QA/AXIS 241SA in the
Location/Address field of your browser.
3. If you are accessing the camera for the first time, see Setting the root password,
on page 10. Otherwise enter your user name and password, as set by the
administrator.
4. A video image is displayed in your browser.
