PresetPositions

Apresetpositionisapredenedviewthatcanbeusedtoquicklysteerthecameratoaspeciclocation.Presetpositionscan

beaccessedinseveralways:

•ByselectingthepresetfromthePresetpositionsdrop-downlistintheLiveViewPage.

•Whensettingupactionrules.Seepage35.

•WhensettingupGuardTour.Seepage28.

•WhensettinguptheGatekeeper.Seepage28

Toaddapresetposition:

1.GotoPTZ>PresetPositions.

2.Usethepan,tiltandzoomcontrolstosteerthecameraviewtothedesiredposition.

3.EnteradescriptivenameintheCurrentpositioneld.

4.Ifrequired,selectUsecurrentpositionasHome.

5.ClickAdd.Thecamera’spositionandfocussettingsaresavedasapresetposition.

TheHomepositionisreadilyaccessiblebyclickingtheHomebuttonontheLiveViewpageandinthePresetPositionssetupwindow.

Tosetacustomizedhomeposition,selectUsecurrentpositionasHomewhenaddingapresetposition.Theuser-denedhome

positionwillhave(H)added,forexample,Entrance(H).ThedefaultHomeposition,called“Home”,willstillbeavailable.

TheproductcanbeconguredtoreturntotheHomepositionwhenthePTZfunctionalityhasbeeninactiveforaspeciedlength

oftime.EnterthelengthoftimeintheReturntohomewheninactiveeldandclickSave.Setthetimetozerotopreventthe

productfromautomaticallyreturningtotheHomeposition.

FocusWindow

Thefocuswindowmakesitpossibletoselectanareaofthecamera'simagethatfocusshouldbeappliedon.Thiscanbeusefulif

thereisapartoftheimagewherefocusismorecritical,orifapartoftheimageshouldbeignoredbytheautofocus.

IfthefocuswindowissetfromtheLiveViewpage,anychangeinthecamerapositionwillreturntheautofocustotheentirewindow.

IfthefocuswindowissetfromthePresetPositionspage,itwillbeincludedinthesettingsforthatpreset.Thefocuswindowcanbe

redenedforthepreset,butitcannotbedeletedunlessthepresetisdeleted.
