5.Settheprebufferto5seconds.

6.Setthepostbufferto60seconds.

7.SelectSDcardfromthelistofstorageoptions.

8.ClickSave.

Howtoturnonalightwhenmotionisdetected

Turningonalightwhenanintruderentersthedetectionzonecanhaveadeterringeffect,andwillalsoimprovetheimagequalityof

avisualcamerarecordingtheintrusion.

Thisexampleexplainshowtosetupthedetectorandanilluminatorsothattheilluminatorturnsonwhenthedetectordetects

motionandturnsoffafteroneminute.

Connectthedevices:

1.Connectoneoftheilluminatorcablestothepowersupplyviatherelayportonthedetector.Connecttheothercable

directlybetweenthepowersupplyandtheilluminator.

Conguretherelayportofthedetector:

2.GotoSettings>System>I/OportsandselectOpencircuitasthenormalstate.

Createaruleinthedetector:

3.GotoSettings>System>Eventsandaddarule.

4.Typeanamefortherule.

5.Fromthelistoftriggers,selectanincludezoneunderRadarmotion.Tosetupanincludezone,seeAddanincludezone

onpage1 1.

6.Fromthelistofconditions,selectToggleI/Oonceandthenselecttherelayport.

7.SelectActive.

8.SettheDuration.

9.ClickSave.

Itispossibletousetheinformationaboutobjects’positionsfromthedetectortomakeaPTZcameratrackobjects.
