Additionalsettings

1.GotoSettings>Apps>AXISVideoMotionDetection.

2.Starttheapplicationifitisnotalreadyrunning.

3.Makesureyouhavesetuptheapplicationaccordingtoyourneeds.

Createarule:

1.GotoSettings>System>Eventsandaddarule.

2.Typeanamefortherule.

3.Inthelistofconditions,underApplication,selectAXISVideoMotionDetection(VMD).

4.Inthelistofactions,underRecordings,selectRecordvideowhiletheruleisactive.

5.Selectanexistingstreamproleorcreateanewone.

6.Settheprebuffertimeto5seconds.

7.Setthepostbuffertimeto60seconds.

8.Inthelistofstorageoptions,selectSDcard.

9.ClickSave.

YouhavetheoptiontoconnecttheAXISI/OIndicationLEDtoyournetworkcamera.ThisLEDcanbeconguredtoturnonwhenever

certaineventsoccurinthecamera.Forexample,toletpeopleknowthatvideorecordingisinprogress.

1.GotoSettings>System>I/OPorts.

2.GotoSettings>System>Events.

3.Createanewrule.

4.SelecttheConditionthatmustbemettotriggerthecameratostartrecording.Itcan,forexample,beatimescheduleor

motiondetection.

5.Inthelistofactions,selectRecordvideo.Selectastreamproleorcreateanew.AlsosetthePrebufferandPostbuffer

asrequired.

6.Savetherule.

7.CreateasecondruleandselectthesameConditionasintherstrule.

8.Inthelistofactions,selectToggleI/Owhiletheruleisactive,andthenselecttheporttheAXISI/OIndicationLEDis

connectedto.SetthestatetoActive.

9.Savetherule.
