5.3.34 printf
Syntax: printf FORMAT [ARGUMENT...]
Formats and prints ARGUMENT(s) according to FORMAT, where FORMAT controls the output exactly
as in C printf.
Example:
$ printf "Val=%d
"5
Val=5
5.3.35 pwd
Syntax: pwd
Print the full filename of the current working directory.
Example:
$ pwd
/root
5.3.36 rdate
Syntax: rdate [OPTION] HOST
Get and possibly set the system date and time from a remote HOST.
Options:
-s Set the system date and time (default).
-p Print the date and time.
5.3.37 reboot
Syntax: reboot
Reboot the system.
5.3.38 rm
Syntax: rm [OPTION]... FILE...
Remove (unlink) the FILE(s). You may use '--' to indicate that all following arguments are
non-options.
Options:
-I always prompt before removing each destinations
-f remove existing destinations, never prompt
-r or –R remove the contents of directories recursively
Example:
$ rm -rf /tmp/foo
