Important
Eachtimethatyouenableordisableglobalevents,theeventlogiscleared.Thismeansthatalleventsbeforethatmoment
areremovedandtheeventlogstartsover.
Alarmscanalsobeconguredtotriggeractionssuchasemailnotications.Formoreinformation,seeSetUpActionRulesonpage34.
EventLogOptions
Todenewhicheventsshallbeincludedintheeventlog,gotoSetup>CongureEventandAlarmLogs.
Thefollowingoptionsforloggingeventsareavailable:
•Nologging–Disableeventlogging.Theeventwillnotberegisteredorincludedintheeventlog.
•Logforallcontrollers–Enableeventlogginginalldoorcontrollers.Theeventwillberegisteredforallcontrollersand
includedintheeventlog.
•Logforselectedcontrollers–Enableeventlogginginselecteddoorcontrollers.Theeventwillberegisteredforallselected
controllersandincludedintheeventlog.Selectthisoptionforeventsthatwillbecombinedwitheitherthealarmlog
optionNoalarmsorLogalarmforselectedcontrollers.
IntheCongureeventlogginglist,clickSelectcontrollersundertheeventlogitemyouwanttoenable.TheDevice
SpecicEventLoggingdialogopens.UnderLogevent,selectthecontrollersthatshallhavealarmloggingenabled
andclickSave.

Todenewhicheventsshouldtriggeranalarm,gotoSetup>CongureEventandAlarmLogs.
Thefollowingoptionsfortriggeringandloggingalarmsareavailable:
•Noalarms–Disablealarmlogging.Theeventwillnottriggeranyalarmsorbeincludedinthealarmlog.
•Logalarmforallcontrollers–Enablealarmlogginginalldoorcontrollers.Theeventwilltriggeranalarmandbe
includedinthealarmlog.
•Logalarmforselectedcontrollers–Enablealarmlogginginselecteddoorcontrollers.Theeventwilltriggeranalarm
andbeincludedinthealarmlog.
IntheCongurealarmlogginglist,clickSelectcontrollersunderthealarmlogitemyouwanttoenable.TheDevice
SpecicAlarmTriggeringdialogopens.UnderTriggeralarm,selectthedoorcontrollersthatshallhavealarmlogging
enabledandclickSave.
SetUpActionRules
TheEventpagesallowyoutoconguretheAxisproducttoperformactionswhendifferenteventsoccur.Forexample,theproduct
cansendanemailnoticationoractivateanoutputportwhenanalarmistriggered.Thesetofconditionsthatdeneshowand
whentheactionistriggerediscalledanactionrule.Ifmultipleconditionsaredened,allofthemmustbemettotriggertheaction.
