AlarmandEventConfiguration
-AreaRemoved–NotsupportedbythisversionofAXISEntryManager.Mustbeconguredbyaclientsuch
asanaccessmanagementsystem,throughtheVAPIX®applicationprogramminginterface,thatsupportsthis
featureandusedevicesthatcanprovidetherequiredsignals.Triggerstheactionrulewhenanaccessareais
removedfromthesystem.
-DoorChanged–Triggerstheactionrulewhenthedoorcongurationsettings,forexampledoorname,are
changedorwhenadoorisaddedtothesystem.Thiscanforexamplebeusedtosendanoticationwhena
doorisinstalledandcongured.
-DoorRemoved–Triggerstheactionrulewhenadoorisremovedfromthesystem.Thiscanforexamplebe
usedtosendanoticationwhenadoorisremovedfromthesystem.
•Door
-DoorAlarm–Triggerstheactionrulewhenthedoormonitorindicatesthatthedoorhasbeenforcedopen,the
doorisopentoolong,orifthedoorisfaultyinanyway.Thiscanforexamplebeusedtosendanotication
whensomeoneisforcinganentry.
-DoorDouble-LockMonitor–Triggerstheactionruleonlywhenthesecondarylockchangesstatetoeither
lockedorunlocked.
-DoorLockMonitor–Triggerstheactionrulewhenthenormallockchangesstatetoeitherlockedorunlocked.
Forexample,afaultistriggeredwhenthedoormonitordetectsthatthedoorisopenalthoughthelockislocked.
-DoorMode–Triggerstheactionrulewhenthedoorchangesstates,forexample,whenthedoorhasbeen

-DoorMonitor–Triggerstheactionrulewhenthedoormonitorstatechanges.Thiscanforexamplebeusedto
sendanoticationwhenadoormonitorindicatesthatthedoorisopenedorclosed.
-DoorTamper–Triggerstheactionrulewhenthedoormonitordetectsthattheconnectionisinterrupted,for
exampleifsomeonecutsthewirestothedoormonitor.Tousethistrigger,makesurethatEnablesupervised
inputsisselectedandthatendoflineresistorsareinstalledontherelevantdoorconnectorinputports.For

-DoorWarning–Triggerstheactionrulebeforethedooropentoolongalarmgoesoff.Thiscanbeusedto,
forexample,sendawarningsignalthatthedoorcontrollerwillsendtherealalarm,thedooropentoolong
alarm,ifthedoorisnotclosedwithinthespecieddooropentoolongtime.Formoreinformationaboutdoor

•EventLogger–Keepstrackofalleventsinthedoorcontroller,forexamplewhenauserswipesacardoropensadoor.If
Globaleventsisenabled,theeventloggerkeepstrackofalltheeventsineverycontrollerinthesystem.Tosetwhich
alarmsandeventsthatcantriggeranactionrule,gotoSetup>CongureEventandAlarmLogs.Theeventloggeris
sharedbythesystemandcanstoreupto30000events.Whenthelimitisreached,theeventloggerusestherstinrst
out(FIFO)rule.Thismeansthatthersteventisthersttobeoverwritten.
-Alarm–Triggerstheactionrulewhenoneofthespeciedalarmshasbeentriggered.Thesystemadministrator
cancongurewhicheventsaremoreimportantthanothersandselectwhetheraparticulareventshould
triggeranalarmornot.
-DroppedAlarms–Triggerstheactionrulewhennewalarmrecordscannotbewrittentothealarmlogs.For
exampleiftherearesomanysimultaneousalarmsthattheeventloggercannotkeepup.Whenanalarmis
dropped,anoticationcanbesenttotheoperator.
-DroppedEvents–Triggerstheactionrulewhenneweventrecordscannotbewrittentotheeventlogs.For
example,iftherearesomanysimultaneouseventsthattheeventloggercannotkeepup.Whenaneventis
dropped,anoticationcanbesenttotheoperator.

-CasingOpen–Triggerstheactionruleifthecoverofthedoorcontrollerisopenedorifthedoorcontrolleris
removedfromthewallorceiling.Thiscanforexamplebeusedtosendanoticationifthecasinghasbeen
openedformaintenancepurposesorwhensomeonehastamperedwiththecasing.
