Thedoorcontrollerhasafewpredenedcommonlyusedaccessschedulesthatcanbeusedasexamplesormodiedas

required.However,thepredenedaccessscheduleAlwayscannotbemodiedordeleted.

AccessScheduleTypes

Therearetwotypesofaccessschedules:

Additionschedule-Regularaccessschedulesthatdenewhendoorscanbeaccessed.Typicaladditionschedulesareofcehours,

businesshours,afterhours,ornighttimehours.

Subtractionschedule-Exceptionstoregularaccessschedules.Theyaregenerallyusedtorestrictaccessduringaspecictime

periodthatoccurswithinthetimeperiodofaregularschedule(additionschedule).Forexample,subtractionschedulescanbeused

todenyusersaccesstothebuildingduringpublicholidaysthatoccuronweekdays.

Bothtypesofaccessschedulescanbeusedattwolevels:

Identicationtypeschedules-Determinewhenandhowreadersgrantusersaccesstoadoor.Eachidenticationtypemustbe

connectedtoanaccessschedulethattellsthesystemwhentograntusersaccesswiththatparticularidenticationtype.Multiple

additionschedulesandsubtractionschedulescanbeaddedtoeachidenticationtype.Forinformationaboutidenticationtypes,

seepage21.

Groupschedules-Determinewhen,butnothow,membersofagrouparegrantedaccesstoadoor.Eachgroupmustbeconnected

tooneormoreaccessschedulesthattellthesystemwhentograntitsmembersaccess.Multipleadditionschedulesandsubtraction

schedulescanbeaddedtoeachgroup.Forinformationaboutgroups,seepage19.

Groupschedulescanrestrictentryaccessrightsbutnotextendentryorexitaccessrightsbeyondwhattheidenticationtype

schedulesallow.Inotherwords,ifanidenticationtypeschedulerestrictsentryorexitaccessatcertaintimes,agroupschedule

cannotoverridethatidenticationtypeschedule.However,ifagroupscheduleismorerestrictiveaboutaccessthantheidentication

typeschedule,thegroupscheduleoverridestheidenticationtypeschedule.

Identicationtypeschedulesandgroupschedulescanbecombinedinseveralwaystoachievedifferentresults.Forexampleaccess

Bothadditionschedulesandsubtractionschedulescanbeone-time(single)eventsorrecurringevents.

3.Enterthenameofthescheduleditem.

4.SelectOnetimeorRecurrence.
