reader,selectthereaderinthelist,andclickRetrieve.

thecardonaconnectedreader,selectthereaderinthelist,andclickRetrieve.Onlyusethisidenticationtypeifa

cardnumbercannotbelocated.

Note

Tobeabletosavetheprole,youmustentertheuser’sFirstnameorLastnameandeitherthePIN,Cardnumber,or

Cardrawdata.

ImportUsers

Userscanbeaddedtothesystembyimportingatextleincomma-separatedvalue(CSV)format.Itisrecommendedtoimport

userswhenyouneedtoaddmanyusersatatime.

Beforeyoucanimportusers,youmustcreateandsaveatext(*.txt)leinthecorrectCSVformat.Separatevaluesbycommas,no

spaces,andseparateeachuserwithalinebreak.

Toimportusers:

1.GotoSetup>ImportUsers.

2.Locateandselectthe*.txtlethatholdsthelistofusers.

3.Selectthecorrectcontenttypeheadingforeachcredentialcolumn.

4.Toimporttheuserstothesystem,clickImportusers.

5.Verifythateachcolumncontainsthecorrecttypeofcredential.

6.Ifthecolumnsarecorrect,clickStartimportingusers.Ifthecolumnsareincorrect,clickCancelandstartover.

7.Whentheimportisnished,clickOK.

Theavailablecontenttypeheadings,orcredentials,are:

•Firstname

•Lastname

•PINcode

•Cardnumber

•Unassigned–Valuesthatwillnotbeimported.Selectthiscontenttypeheadingtoskipaparticularcolumn.

ExportUsers

TheExportpageshowsacomma-separatedvalue(CSV)listofalltheusersinthesystem.Thelistcanbeusedtoimportthe

userstoanothersystem.
