AXIS Camera Station

Licenses

AXIS Camera Station can be run in three license modes:

• Licensed version: Complete version allowing up to 100 video channels.

• Demo: A 30 day evaluation version with up to four video channels and full functionality.

• AXIS Camera Station One:Afreeversionwithonevideochannel.

Registering Licenses

Multiple licenses ca n be added to AXIS Camera Station to install up to 100 video channe ls. Contact your local Axis rese ller to

purchase more licenses. AXIS Camera Station offers two ways to add and register a license:

• Automatic registration — If AXIS Camera Station Server is installed on a computer with Internet connection, this is the

easiest and fastest way to register and activate a new license.

• Manual registration — If AXIS Camera Station Server

is installed on a computer w ithout Internet connection, licen se s can

still be added in AXIS Camera Station. Make a note of the Server ID in the License Registration dialog as the Server ID is

required to activate the license. The software can be used in grace mode for 5 days before the license is activated on Axis

License Types

AXIS Camera Station

allows different kinds of licenses to be a dded:

• Base license:A

llow adding a set of video channels (4 or 10). The ﬁrst license installed on the system must be a base license.

• Upgrade li

cense: Allow adding more video channels (1, 5 or 20).

• Supp

ort license: Add one year to the suppo rt p eriod of the product.

Support Li cense

The initial base license includes one year free support and software upgrades for AXIS Camera Station. For access to support and

upgrades after the ﬁrst year has expired a yearly support license is required. A support license will grant you one year additional

support and upgrades fro m the day w hen the new support license is registered.
