How to...

Conﬁgure a Recording Disk

To add and conﬁgure a recording disk, follow these steps:

1. From the Conﬁguration menu, select Recording Storage .

2. Click Add server disk or Add network disk.

3. Enter the path of the disk and click OK to save.

4. To set the maximum disk space allowed to be u sed by AXIS C amera Station, select the disk and use the AX IS Camera

Station Recordings Limit slidebar.

5. To change the folder where recordings will be stored, select the disk and click Edit to specify new folder.

Conﬁgure Camera Recording Storage Settings

To specify storage settings for individual cameras, follow these steps:

1. From the Conﬁguration menu, select Recording Storage .

2. SelectacamerafromCameras.

3. Click Edit to open the Edit Camera Recording Storage Settings dialog.

4. Choose the disk to save recordings to from the list Record to disk.

5. Set the number of days to keep recordings. By default the recordings are set to ‘Unlimited’.

6. Optionally, check the box to enable failove r recordings.

7. Click OK to save settings.

To enter default storage settings for all newly added cameras, click Default Settings under Cameras.

Create Views

AXIS Camera Station supports different view types: split view, sequence, camera view, map a nd web page, see Views, on page 9 .The

views can be organized into view group s, see View Groups, on page 10.
