Additional Control Codes for 3812/5219 Emulation
Horizontal Tab (HT)
Moves the print position to the right one tab stop.
Required New Line (RNL)
Same as New Line (NL).
Superscript (SPS)
Causes an upward displacement of one-half the single line distance.
Backspace (BS)
Causes the print position to be changed to the left a distance equal to the current char-
acter width.
Unit Backspace (UBS)
When in proportional spacing mode, this command causes a backspace of 1/60th of an
inch. Otherwise it performs no operation.
Word Underscore (WUS)
Causes the word preceding the command to be underscored.
