AXIS P7210 Video Encoder
PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom)
Advanced
Limits
Define the pan, tilt, zo om and focus limits for the Axis p roduct. Movements to the left and right, up and down, can be restricted to
narrow the area under surveillance.
Move speed sets the speed of the cam era’s pan and tilt movements. The default setting is maximu m speed.
When using a jo ystick (or emulating one with the mouse) the Enable proportional speed setting can be used to reduce the maximum
pan/tilt move m ent speed, i.e. the s pee d the ca m er a view moves at when the joystick is pushed all the way out in any direction. This is
useful then the view is zoomed in on an object.
See the online help
for more information.

A user who belongs to a group (see

removed from the queue 60 second s after the last PTZ control command.
2. Event — The A xis product can be configuredtogotoapresetpositionwhen trig gered by a n ala rm (se e

The event will imm ediately be placed first in the queue except when an
administrator is in control.
3. Operator — Same as administr ator but with low
er priority
4. Guard Tour —Aguardtour(see)hasPTZco
ntrol for an indefinite period of time. It may be overridden by an operator,
event or adm inistr ator. The guard tour will re sume when higher priority groups leave the queue.
5. Viewer — M ultiple viewers must wait for their turn. The viewer has 60 seconds PTZ co ntrol before control is passed
on to the next viewer in queue.
