Receiving Messages
The Basics
When you see a flashing MSG key:
— Lift the handset and press the flashing . A call is automatically placed to
the phone or message center that left the displayed message.
Options
To select the message you want to answer first (display keysets only):
— If your MSG key is flashing, one or more messages are waiting. With the handset
in the cradle, press
repeatedly to view your waiting messages.
— When the desired message is displayed, press
OR lift the handset for privacy
and then press to respond.
To cancel a waiting message:
Display Keyset: Press repeatedly to view your waiting messages. When
the message you wish to cancel is displayed, remain on hook and press . The
message is canceled.
Non-Display Keyset: While on hook, press . The message is canceled.
