Before performing the followingoperations, press
_SIRIUS.
• All Channel Search mode
1 Press ®SEARCH MODE (or _SRCH
MODE) repeatedly to select "ALL CH
SEARCH".
2 Press @PRESET/TUNING/CH <lit> (or
@ PRESET/CH A / V) repeatedly to search
for a channel within all channels.
• You can search for a channel quickly by pressing and holding
@PRESET/TUNING/CH< / E>
(or@PRESET/CH A/ V).
• You call skip channels to the previous or next category by
pressing @CATEGORY (or @A-E/CAT. <1/ t>).
• Category Search mode
1 Press ®SEARCH MODE (or _SRCH
MODE) repeatedly to select "CAT SEARCH".
2 Press @CATEGORY (or @A-E/CAT. <1 / I>)
repeatedly to change the channel category.
Press @PRESET/TUNING/CH <1 It> (or
@ PRESET/CH A / V) repeatedly to search
for a channel within the selected channel
category.

You can search for a channel quickly by pressing and holding
@PRESET/TUNING/CH <1/ D (or @PRESET/CH A / V).
This unit skips the channels when this unit is All Channel Search
mode or Category Search mode in the following cases (it is not
malfunction of this unit):
- the channel is locked (see page 54).
- the channel is out of service.
- you do not subscribe to the channel.

• Preset Search mode
Prior to selecting a preset channel in the Preset Search
mode, you must preset SIRIUS channels. For details, see
"Setting the SIRIUS Satellite Radio TM preset channels" on
page 54.
1 Press ®SEARCH MODE (or _SRCH
MODE) repeatedly to select "PRESET
SEARCH".
2 Press @CATEGORY (or @A-E/CAT. <1 / I>)
repeatedly to change the preset channel
group (A to E).
3 Press @PRESET/TUNING/CH <1/I> (or
@PRESET/CH A / V) repeatedly to change
the preset channel number (1 to 8).

You can also select the preset channel number directly by
pressing the numeric buttons (1 to 8) (@).
• Direct Number Access mode
1 Press _SRCH MODE on the remote control
repeatedly to select "ALL CH SEARCH" or
"CAT SEARCH".

Press the numeric buttons (@) to enter the
desired three-digit channel number.
For example, to enter the number 123, press the
numeric buttons (@) as shown below.

• To display the SIRIUS Radio ID (SID) number displayed inthe
front panel display, select channel "0".
• To enter a one-digit or two-digit channel number,press the
numeric buttons (@) on theremote control and then press
ENT to confirm the input number.
• Instead of pressing@ENT to tune into the channel
immediately,you canwait afew secondsuntil this unit confirms
the entered channel number.
• Pressing a button other than the numeric buttons(@) or @ENT
cancels the Direct Number Access mode procedure.
• If the selected channel is locked, "PIN: " appears in the
front panel display.Enter thefour-digit Parental Lock code
number by using the numeric buttons (@) or press _ ENT to
cancel.
