With automatic scanning
configured, the client will
automatically search for an AP
with matching criteria. The
search criteria include SSID,
BSSID prefix. And the search
will start after it is first started or
after an existing connection is
discontinued.
Default is no scanning.
Disable automatic scanning

Configure a list of channels that
you allow the client to look at
when doing access point
scanning. Only one channel list
is allowed.
Default has no channel list and
it scans in all legal channels of
the configured hardware modes.
(See “scanning hardware-
mdoes” command).
<channel list>: a list of comma
separated channel numbers, no
space in between
Remove the current configured
channel list

Configure the hardware modes

scanning
<mode string>: a, g, ag
It means do scanning only in
802.11a mode, 802.11g mode
or in both modes. Default value
is both 802.11a and 802.11g.
Remove the hardware scanning
mode setting and return to
default.
scanning minimum-interval <seconds>

time interval between two
consecutive scans.
<seconds>: a number between
1 and 300, the unit is second.
Default value is 60 seconds.
