6.2 Voice Tags
You can use your phone to assign voice tags to the names in your phonebook. The Car Kit
allows you to use these voice tags to call your contacts. Just press the green button on the Car Kit
control unit and say the name of your contact after the beep.
Correct recording of the voice tags is very important. The reliability of the voice dialing system
depends of the standard of the recording. To obtain optimum operation, please, comply with
these recommendations:
Speak out clearly and naturally.
Make the recording in quiet place.
Turn off your engine, radio and ventilation.
Close the doors and windows.
When you make a call using a voice tag, the Car Kit will activate the phone’s voice recognition
by default, using the tags recorded on the phone, which are limited to 15. In order to use the Car
Kit’s voice recognition, you must record the tags for the contacts in your directory on the Car Kit
one by one.
Hold the red button on the Car Kit down for two seconds.
Turn on the phone; select the name to which you wish to assign a voice tag by pressing
“Select”.
Say the name after the beep.
