11.4 Making a Call with the CAR KIT
11.4.1 Normal dialing
With your Phone you can make a call using different methods. Please refer to your PC
Phone’s User Guide.
The most direct method is by using the Phone keypad.
• Dial the number and wait for the call to connect.
• To terminate the call, press down the Off Hook Button on the CAR KIT or press “End”
on the phone.
11.4.2 Redial
Calls the last number dialed from the phone.
• On the CAR KIT, press and depress the “Answer” button.
11.4.3 Voice Dialing
• The Mini does not support Voice dialing but third-party software is available as an add-
on. Do a search on the internet.
11.5 Erase Memory
• Click on “Yes” to display “Clear Memory?”
• Click on “Yes” to validate.
• You will hear “Memory erasing in progress, please wait!”.
• You can also erase the memory without using the Menu. Hold the red and green buttons
down simultaneously for at least 2 seconds.
Automatic call answer:
This function allows you to activate and deactivate the automatic call answer.
• Click on “Yes”.
• Choose between “Enable” and “Disable”.
11.6 Discreet mode
You can activate Discreet mode to transfer calls from your Car Kit to your phone. This operation
takes place while you are taking a call:
• “Retrieve call in phone?” will be displayed. Press “Yes”. The call is transferred to your
phone.
• You can also press the green button on the Car Kit to transfer the call to your phone.
• Press the green button a second time to switch the call back to hands-free mode (this
function is only available on phone equipped with a hands-free profile – go to “Phone
Configuration” to find out whether this is the case with your phone).
