Chapter 13 Care and Maintenance
This section explains the maintenance concepts and provides instructions on preventive
maintenance necessary to ensure that the Bluetooth
®
CAR KIT is maintained at its optimum
operating condition.
The suggestions below will help you to fulfill any warranty obligations and to enjoy this product
for many years.
• Keep all enhancements out of the reach of small children.
• Keep the Advanced Car Kit dry. Precipitation, humidity and all types of liquids or moisture
can contain minerals that will corrode electronic circuits.
• Do not use or store the Advanced Car Kit in dusty, dirty areas. Its moving parts can be
damaged.
• Do not attempt to open the Advanced Car Kit. Non-expert handling may damage it.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents to clean the Advanced Car
Kit or the remote control button.
• Do not paint the Advanced Car Kit or the remote control button. Paint can clog the moving
parts and prevent proper operation.
