US5000 / US6000: HEADBOARD PANEL MOUNT ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
1. Position the Headboard at
with pre-assembled Inserts
oriented as shown at right.
2. Position the Horizontal
Crossbrace along the top edge
above Inserts with End Tabs
oriented top and bottom.
3.
Position the two Vertical Braces
so their Extending Bolts face
downward as shown. Ensure
the Spring Lock is facing
outward away from the center.
Info: Tube with Spring Lock
must ALWAYS face outward as
shown at right.
4. Slide both Vertical Braces
inward until their slots
fully seat over Horizontal
Crossbrace tabs.
5. Holding the Braces together,
align their Extending Bolts
with the Headboard holes.
6. Hand screw the Extending
Bolts into the Inserts and
HAND TIGHTEN ONLY.
7. Insert Headboard Assembly
into Main Frame head end
square slots. Ensure Vertical
Brace bottom tabs seat fully
into slots.
8. Ensure the Spring Lock bottom
ramp button is now below the
top inside wall of the Main
Frame crossbrace to secure
Headboard to Main Frame, as
shown at near right.
9. Once the headboard is in place,
tighten all four bolts with the
special hex key supplied in your
kit’s hardware bag.
Info: To release the Headboard,
depress the Spring Lock TOP
button and lift the Headboard up
and out of the Main Frame square
holes, as shown at far right.
