Für die Überbrückung der Strecke zwischen Temperatursensor und Auswerteelektronik, sowie um fehlerhafte Messungen zu vermeiden, müssen spe-
zielle, international normierte Leitungen verwendet werden. Bei Thermoelementen unterscheidet man zwischen Thermoleitungen (Leiter aus denselben
Legierungen wie das Thermoelement selbst) und Ausgleichsleitungen (Leiter aus Ersatzlegierungen). In der Regel sind Ausgleichsleitungen günstiger als
Thermoleitungen und weisen eingeschränkte Toleranzen auf.
In order to avoid systematic measurement errors, it is necessary to use special, to the sensor type appropriate cables for connection between a tempe-
rature sensor and the evaluation device. In case of Thermocouple one distinguishes between extension cables (Conductor out the same alloys as the
Thermocouple itself) and compensation cables (Conductors out of alternative alloys). In general compensation cables are cheaper than extension cables
but have constricted tolerances.
